Running SpeedTest it starts at 5 to 8 and then drop to 1 and flat lines there. That was nice but now both our LTE is limited to 1 mbps. My son and I are using Turbo 2s on T-Mobile and got the update OTA today. Glad to have System UI tuner back, and Doze will be welcome at work tomorrow. Why do the iPhone and Samsung get the wifi calling feature and not the Droid-branded Verizon flagship? I really thought Verizon was waiting for the Marshmallow update to add wifi calling capability to the Turbo 2, but it's still nowhere in sight. If you're tired of On Tap you can click the three circles near the G to turn it off. If you click the 'G' below, you'll get to Google Now. If you have turned on 'Google On Tap', contextual cards will pop up as determined by On Tap. Instead of swiping up from bottom of screen, you have to hold the 'home' icon (the circle in the middle of the triangle and square). You have to go to Settings/Google/Search&Now/Now on TapĪccessing Google Now has changed. Anyone know how to change it back and/or a quick way to get to that?Īlso, Now On Tap is not enabled by default. Note: once you click it, it automatically enables do not disturb. Tapping it will allow you to do Do Not Disturb settings. You can still mute/go to vibrate by clicking on the 'bell' icon, and if you click the down arrow, you can change volumes on music and alarms.Įdit: you can swipe down twice/swipe down with two fingers from notifications bar, and the Do Not Disturb option is in the lowest right corner of the toggles. However, moving the up or down button doesn't give you the option to change the do not disturb (you could make it priority or no disturbances). Looks and feels almost exactly the same as before so far. Let's share our impressions of the update, and any questions or issues that you've encountered. I doubt that it won't be available since I had developer options on when I had Lollipop. If you did upgrade did you have developer options on when the phone had Lollipop? I have also tried many number of times. It happened with me also, i tried many times and suddenly once i succeeded. There is an "EDIT" option at the bottom which allows me to adjust the tiles, but pressing the GEAR icon doesn't help at all.įor those who are not able to do this yet. I have amazon ads version and was able to show system UI tuner. Maybe they removed the UI tuner since the tuner is somehow related to the locking screen ads. I already revealed the developer options by clicking build number 7 times. Maybe someone else with the ads version could try it? Are you able to get the Developer options by tapping build number 7 times? I would think if you can get that then the System UI should also work. Maybe, I'm using the no-ads $299 Amazon version. Oh maybe it's because I'm using Amazon-ad version.? It worked for me, I pressed the gear icon at top of quicksettings for 3-5 seconds then a message came up and it appeared in the settings menu after Developer options.
